We are looking for project leaders!
If you have an idea for a great 4-H project ( Horse husbandry, poultry, knitting, quilting, gardening, you name it… ) and you have some time and/or talents to share with the Corbett area, please use the contact information to become a 4-H leader for our kids!
4-H is a great fit for our community and families in so many ways. It is convenient: Each leader ( you?) decides on the number of kids they are comfortable working with and the time commitment they are comfortable making for meetings and/or field trips. ( You can meet once a week or twice a month, for example.)
Once you decide to get involved, just fill out the application and go through the process. Jon Mayer at the Extension Office is happy to help you with all of this as well as find and put into use existing curriculum for your project too! You can also come up with your own project and curriculum, if you like!
